Whether you’re preparing for an audition, refining a song, or simply looking to feel more confident and in control of your voice, Kim’s coaching is designed to help you sing with clarity, consistency, and confidence.
Each session focuses on practical technique you can immediately apply. Kim helps singers strengthen range, improve control, and move through both mental and technical blocks, so the work translates directly into auditions, rehearsals, performances, or personal goals. Sessions are available both in person and virtually, depending on what works best for you.
Kim approaches the voice as an extension of the person, not just an instrument. Because it’s closely tied to how you think and feel, it can carry tension, fear, or habits that get in the way. Alongside building strong vocal fundamentals, she helps you work through those patterns so your voice feels freer, more connected, and more like you.
Kim is a classically trained lyric soprano who transitioned into musical theatre and contemporary styles. She works across legit, mix, and belt, and specializes in connecting technique to expression.
You might recognize her from her work with Team StarKid, including Black Friday, Workin’ Boys, Cinderella’s Castle, Nerdy Prudes Must Die, Jangle Ball, Space Baby and the Nightmare Time series. She has performed in over 20 musical theatre productions nationwide, including Louisa in the 50th anniversary Off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady at Lyric Stage.
