A little about us.
Story Matters Studios is a Los Angeles–based creative studio working with artists and clients across the U.S. and internationally. Founded by husband-and-wife team Curt Mega and Kim Whalen, we focus on three core pillars: coaching, creative services, and post-production, unified by a belief that story matters.
Coaching is at the center of our work. Curt and Kim are working actors, singers, directors, and teachers who provide one-on-one coaching, group workshops, and demo consulting for actors and singers at all stages of their careers. We work with artists in Los Angeles, Texas, Washington, D.C., and beyond, and we coach virtually with clients around the world.
We also provide directing, creative, and post-production services for production companies, brands, and independent teams, offering nimble, story-driven support with a high level of care, taste, and attentiveness to tone.
