How it works.

  • Write it.

It all begins with an idea! In the first days of camp, students work as a writing team with the guidance and expertise of the instructors to form the story.

  • Plan it.

Once the students know their story and characters, it’s time to schedule and plan. What scenes to shoot where? What props do we need? Makeup or costumes? This is one of the most important aspects of preproduction for a film.

  • Shoot it.

Are you ready for your close-up? It’s time to put all that preproduction work to good use and shoot that movie. This is when actors get their time in the spotlight and get to see how a real film set works.
