How it works.

  • Write it.

It all begins with an idea! In the first days of camp, students work as a writing team with the guidance and expertise of the instructors to form the story.

  • Plan it.

Once the students know their story and characters, itโ€™s time to schedule and plan. What scenes to shoot where? What props do we need? Makeup or costumes? This is one of the most important aspects of preproduction for a film.

  • Shoot it.

Are you ready for your close-up? Itโ€™s time to put all that preproduction work to good use and shoot that movie. This is when actors get their time in the spotlight and get to see how a real film set works.
